Membership & Racking
There are three routes to membership of Nottingham Kayak Club
1) You have completed one of our 'beginner' courses and wish to join the club to access our other sessions
2) You are a marathon, sprint or WWR paddler with a current national ranking in one or more of those disciplines. The club reserves the right to check your competence with your existing club or coach
3) You are an existing recreational/touring paddler with some experience. membership would be confirmed normally after a conversation and, possibly, an on water assessment, with one of our coaches or committee members

Racking Fee £36 (whether racked indoors or outside)

Key Policy
Keys to the club may be issued to full club members if certain criteria is met. Full details and application form here.
Racking
The club has a large boathouse which is always full. Club members who have been members for more than 6 months and have applied for and been issued a key may apply for a rack for their personal boat. Demand always exceeds supply but the membership/racking officer is a miracle worker!
